ADM Appointed to ‘Grand Designs’ Home in Northamptonshire

10th August 2020

ADM has been commissioned to provide a range of construction management services on a stunning new ‘grand designs’ home in Sibbertoft, Northants

The aspirational family home, which has been designed to Passivhaus principles, is being built under paragraph 79 of the National Planning Policy Frame work, which recognises homes of ‘exceptional quality and innovative nature of design’.

Located on land previously forming part of the Sulby Hall Estate and Parkland, the project requires an extensive and ongoing landscaping programme to comply with planning stipulations, which the client has been completing over the past two years.

Appointed as Architectural Technician and Quantity Surveyor, ADM will also be responsible for planning condition sign offs, building regulations drawings and will also help with project co-ordination.

Steven Masic, ADM Surveyors Ltd said: “As experts in sustainable construction we are delighted to be helping our clients to achieve their dream home.

“We have already been involved in a number of critical tasks to enable this fabulous project to proceed including elemental estimates, identifying areas of value engineering and discharge of pre-commencement planning conditions.

“This is an extensive and ongoing project and we will be assisting our client with the procurement of a new access road to facilitate construction works, production of building regulation drawings for approval from all parties and assist with appointing relevant professionals as required".

ADM’s extensive experience and impressive track record in sustainable construction management means that when complete, this ambitious project, will achieve Passivhaus accreditation and is in safe hands.
