ADM provide continued Quantity Surveying services on new care project in Leicester

Wyggeston Hospital was originally formed as an Almshouse/Sheltered Housing charity in 1513 by William Wyggeston, former MP and Mayor of Leicester City. The Hospital gave accommodation to a small number of men and women as a practical expression of his philanthropic faith. The term "hospital" does not refer to a hospital as we know it today, but derives from a combination of words and sentiments including hospitality, hospice, accommodation and care.

Following the instruction from the Trustees of Wyggeston Hospital for pre and post contract quantity surveying services for the proposed new three storey Hub extension to the existing Hospital building and six new two-bedroom bungalows, along with external works, ADM Surveyors Limited commenced on the measurement and production of a full Bills of Quantities in the summer of 2019. The tender package was completed and selected contractors were invited to tender in June 2019.

The successful contractor, S&S Contracting Limited commenced work in January 2020.

Currently, the cottages are water tight with all roofs completed and the external windows and doors installed.

The Hub external masonry walls are complete and the roof structure is in construction.
