ADM welcomes a new apprentice to the team!

We are proud to introduce our new employee, Finlay Groocock who is currently studying part time at Leicester’s De Montfort University working towards obtaining a degree in Quantity Surveying and Construction.

Finlay has now completed his first year at De Montfort University and has decided that he wants to gain experience in a professional practice to assist him with his degree. Finlay is eager to learn the process of how construction projects are formed and executed and looks forward to getting out on site, meeting, and learning from the many professionals he will be introduced to.

Finlay was keen to secure a position with a surveying practice in Leicester where he could gain valuable hands-on experience. ADM will provide training and support him through his degree programme arranging CPD events and regular APC sessions.

Looking forward, Finlay aspires to becoming a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and ultimately manage his own team of Surveyors.

In his spare time, Finlay enjoys travelling, attending festivals and extreme sports.

Finlay says “I have been made to feel very welcome by everyone in the team straight away. In the short time I have worked for ADM, I have already learnt much about the different stages of being a Quantity Surveyor and it really provides me with reassurance that I made the right decision in changing my career".
