Our Contract Administration & Quantity Surveying services for the proposed refurbishment of a commercial unit C4 at Welland Business Park have been instructed.
This commercial park provides business space for a wide range of retail, office and industrial uses.
Architectural services for the project have been completed by Leaf Architecture of Market Harborough. Richard Norwood of Leaf Architecture approached us to provide our Quantity Surveying expertise on this project.
Quantity Surveying pre-contract services incorporate the preparation of tender documents in the form of Bills of Quantities followed by a negotiated tender with the client’s contractor of choice. A tender report and value for money statement along with the preparation of contract documents will be provided.
Our post-contract work includes acting as contract administrator and lead consultant includes supervision of the work, issuing instructions and attending meetings with the main contractor. Quantity Surveying duties will include monthly valuations, financial statements, and agreement of the final account with the main contractor.
