ADM Surveyors secured planning permission for a two-storey side extension at Salisbury House, 304 Leicester Road, Wigston. As part of the planning submission, an arboricultural impact assessment, tree survey and method statement were undertaken. The trees of significant amenity value were situated on the northern boundary, including a Leyland Cypress and Lawson Cypress. Due to the location of the trees and taking into consideration the RPA (root protection area), a cellular confinement system was proposed to protect the existing tree roots from the damage, whilst creating a stable, load bearing surface for vehicular parking.
Our further services on this project included building regulations submission, pre and post contract services including, pre contract cost control, preparation of tender documents, bills of quantities, site supervision, site meetings, valuations and agreement of the final account.
The project was completed by Geeson Building & Joinery Limited, Leicester.
Our Client, Tim Holmes said “ADM helped deal with all aspects of the extension that we had done to our offices, they dealt with absolutely everything and provided all the help we needed on anything else. Everything was clear and they looked after our best interests constantly, communication was constant. Our work was conducted during the first lock down but this in no way affected the build or the service we received. We would always highly recommend ADM”.
